Life After Sports Consulting Group seeks to eliminate the trend of professional athletes going broke once they retire. The goal is to shift the balance of power from outside parties, into the hands of professional athletes, by utilizing leveraged asset strategies throughout their playing careers, to create stability upon their retirement. 

Life After Sports Consulting Group has a vision that athletes will become empowered with the ability to make informed decisions, which will ensure their financial stability for their "Life After Sports."

Charles L. Wells IV, PhD is the Founder and President of Life After Sports Consulting Group (LAS).  With over 15 years in the Sports and Entertainment industry, Charles offers a unique approach to assist athletes with their plan to succeed while they transition to their “Life After Sports.” 

Prior to launching LAS, Charles served as an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor.  In addition, Charles has over 20 years of experience in Business Transformations and Marketing/Communications.  Charles has served as a senior-level executive for the Fortune 500 company, Sodexo, and has consulted for numerous global companies which most notably include, Dow and DuPont Chemical companies, Salesforce, and Becton Dickinson.  

Charles holds a Doctoral Degree in I/O Psychology, from Wayne State University.  He also holds a Master's Degree in I/O Psychology from the University of New Haven, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Morehouse College.
